I joined the Army in 1987 as a Royal Engineer and saw active combat in the first gulf war which was pretty scary for an 18 year old lad!

My next few years saw me as an Army physical training instructor and I took all manner of physical training with the Paras and Comandos teaching unarmed combat to the forces in general.

I boxed in the Army where I fought and won in Maimi against a local hero. However, I quickly realised that I was missing a trick not kicking.  I was keen to explore this and was taken under the wing of a Welsh Karate champion, Mark.

Passed my Army diving course (one of the hardest in the forces!) and in my downtime worked as a private PT in London.

In 1997 I Joined the Police Force and retired as an Inspector in 2021 after serving 23 years all front line duties.

During this time, I became a personal safety Trainer for the police and taught all manner of training to front line police staff.

I went to Thailand and trained Muai thai, which my wife thought was a family holiday!

In 2015 I started my own club, and decided that I could offer some life experieces crossed with my own kickboxing/Muai thai and Boxing.

Over the years the club has grown and I have been lucky enough to train with some awesome people, some of which are now instructors in the club.

We provide, good honest and hard training from the little ones running round throwing some punches to the bigger ones attending tornaments locally and world championships. There is something here for everyone here!
