My kickboxing journey with MC Kickboxing started in 2018! I've always had a passion for exercise, not just for the physical benefits but the mental benefits (Thank you Endorphins!). I trained briefly in kickboxing many years ago and as an advocate for all things girl power, decided I wanted to set a personal goal of gaining a black belt in a martial arts.
As well as enjoying all of the benefits training in a martial art has given me personally over the years, it's also been a pleasure whilst training across both the ladies and mixed adults classes to watch other members come into class and grow in both skill and confidence, so when the opportunity came up to help instruct kids classes, I snapped it up!
Outside of kickboxing, I'm a mum of two girls, work in Early Intervention supporting families & if I'm not seeing to either of those commitments, I'm likely to be wandering around somewhere in the great outdoors or in the gym!
Whatever your current level of fitness or ability, MC Kickboxing offers a great atmosphere, with dedicated and supportive instructors and students alike. We work hard but we also have lots of fun! If you or your child is considering trying one of our classes, my advice would be to just go for it! 😊
